China has issued instructions to change feed instructions

China’s passive defense in the feed industry
China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has issued new guidelines recommending a reduction in corn and soybean consumption in pig and poultry feed, which could change the flow of grain exports to China. For northeast China, the ministry suggested that corn using rice and rice bran be reduced by at least 15% in pig diets. For southern China, the ministry suggested that rice bran and barley meal replace corn in pig feed. Elsewhere, the ministry suggested that soy be eliminated altogether and replaced with other meals.
China is the largest buyer of corn and soy in the world.
