Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, also known as ascorbic acid. Pure ascorbic acid is sensitive to heat, alkaline conditions, and light, so a significant portion of it is expected to degrade during pelleting. However, more stable forms of this vitamin are now available on the market, which can retain over 90% of their activity even after thermal feed processing.
This product contains 35% vitamin C in the form of L-Ascorbic Acid-2-Phosphate (Vitamin C Phosphate) and is manufactured by Minsheng (China). It is suitable for use in complete poultry and aquafeed, and it can withstand the high temperatures of pelleting, expander processing, and extrusion.
