Poultry feed

Poultry refers to domesticated birds raised by humans for egg production and for slaughter as poultry meat or for feathers. These birds are typically from the order Galliformes such as the domestic chicken and turkey and from the family Anatidae within Anseriformes, commonly recognized as waterfowl. Some other birds, such as pigeons, are also slaughtered for meat. Globally, poultry meat accounts for about 30٪ of meat consumption and is the second most consumed meat after pork at 38٪.
